Let’s start with Kara.
Two UN_NEUTERED MALES and a female. Responsible pet ownership has already ended with that one sentence. If the female was not spayed and was possibly in heat…that was asking for trouble. Do I blame the victim? No. She was a sweet innocent little girl. Do I blame the parents. At least to soem degree. Absolutely.

Next Je’veah
Child snuck out of the house to play with puppies that belonged to a mother dog that did NOT belong to the family. Mother dogs will protect their babies. As will almost all animals. Do I blame the victim? No. She was a sweet innocent little girl. Do I blame the parents. Yes. Lock the doors people.

Braelynn
Attacked the girl, then turned on the mother. Family says the dog had never previously been aggressive, however neighbors say the dog had recently broken out of the yard and attacked another dog. Dogs with animal aggression do NOT necessarily have human aggression, but a dog that is breaking out of it’s yard obviously has something happening. Whether it’s aggression, poor training or low supervision we have no way of knowing. But this is not automatically a “family pet” as the foamers have classified it either.

Christina Burleson
The dogs that attacked her came from separate households and at least one had been involved in a previous biting, the owners of both had NUMEROUS CITATIONS for unlicensed dogs that were kept in “deplorable” conditions. Irresponsible owners and animal control not following up, or not having the ability to remove dogs from a situation that can turn bad. One of the two.

Carlos Eligio Trevina
He died from a heart attack while breaking up a dog fight so the foamers are calling it a dbrf. Apparently they have forgotten what “DBRF” stands for. It stands for Dog BITE related fatality. No “heart attack from over exertion”. He could have taken the dogs for a walk and over exerted himself. This is nothing more than padding numbers and trying to make the situation look more serious than it truly is. It’s also pathetic.

First of all these were reported as possible pit bulls, possible cane corsos and possible mastiffs. These are ALL different breeds and if you’re being honest you can’t just lump them in as one. Second, just like Christina Burleson, Klonda is the victim of a horrible couple that used those dogs to terrorize and harrass her and in the end, took her life. The humans are the ones to blame here, these were not family dogs that just suddenly went crazy. She is also the victim of a judicial system that failed her more than once. The owners have been charged.

Killed by her grandsons 3 Rottweilers. Due to VERY limited news coverage (common when it’s not a pit type dog) there is not much information on this attack.

Today an unnamed 4 year old was killed while playing in her front yard. The dog was a german shepherd/lab or husky mix. According to comments left on the original article, there are packs of feral dogs (abandoned when owners move away) in an area with no Animal Control until just one WEEK before this attack. Blame lies on owners leaving dogs to fend for themselves, become a pack and go feral. But one also wonders why a 4 year old child was alone in a yard for 45 minutes with no supervision. Kidnapping, accidents, injuries, anything can happen in that amount of time.
So the reality is that they are padding numbers in any way they can..just as they did last year when they counted a man who was hit by a car.
Anything to push their agenda. It would be embarrassing if they had any kind of conscience.
