Let’s see how many people we can offend in one post shall we.
I can honestly say that I do know a few gay women (and men) who own pit bulls. I know MORE straight women (and men) who own pit bulls. Which stands to reason since the population of gays is smaller (at least that we know about) than straight.
I can also honestly say that with the exception of .0000001%, the straight people I know accept the gay people just fine. I realize this may be different in a hater world like Rose Solesky inhabits, but in my world, where people have more important things to worry about than who someone is spending their life with, it’s really a moot point.
I’m not sure what this whole “underdog” thing is about. Many of the pit bull owners I know and associate with are highly successful. Both within their careers and within their lives. With healthy, happy, productive friendships, relationships and families. *shrug* I guess whatever you need to make yourself feel better at night Rose.
Not only are these people successful but they are raising healthy, happy dogs who live perfectly normal lives, and children raised to respect, understand and treat dogs properly. Things like teasing, riding them, throwing rocks and beating them are not allowed. Again, it’s all about the world you choose to inhabit.
As for the ASPCA, can someone please tell these morons that the ASPCA is a non-profit organization. So no, it isn’t about the money. And unlike DBO, they make their financials available.
