  Rose Solesky With all the wonderful breeds, why wud they make this breed available to the public. All breeds bite, few kill. How many humans have to be scarred or die from this animal. It boggles my mind that the powers to be know how dangerous this breed is yet they make them available to the public. The SPCA is more interested in getting homes for this animal then the safety of the humans that adopt them. If I had not almost lost a grandchild from this breed, I wud never have realized how dangerous they are. I have lost all respect for the SPCA..

  Liz Marsden Pit bull owners are the leading backyard breeders nowadays. No more lab/beagles or lab/sheps or lab/golden "accidental" breeding. Nope, just pits, pits, pits. And chihuahuas, but at least they aren't slaughtering people.

  Joanie Caldwell-Kenoshmeg Here too. The pitbull promoters always want to shut down puppy mills but folks who go to shelters can't find a nonpitbull dog. Many have to drive many hours to find nonpitbull breeds to adopt.

  Sabra Steele They are shutting down the breeders of other breeds left and right..soon all that will be left are these unwanted dogs. The only cheap dog left is the Pit or a pit mix..even an accidental beagle/lab sells for much more money now
